In Loving Memory of Jeff Butcher
In Lieu of flowers Jeff would have wanted us to continue his fundraising and getting his message across to so many. Over the last 5 years Jeff was dedicated and passionate about getting his message out to other - he had one consistent message and that was for everyone to get their annual skin check and be sun smart.
It is a heartbreaking honour to continue his legacy and will not give up until we have a cure for Melanoma.
I have created this fundraising page in memory of Jeff who sadly passed away surrounded by family and friends from Melanoma on the 30 April 2024.
Jeff has for a number of years been a fundraising contributor to the Melanoma Institute of Australia through campaigns such as Melanoma March so it was an easy decision to choose them for this occasion.
With your help, the funds we raise will support Melanoma Institute Australia's world-class research, treatment, and education programs, in the hope that we can lessen the impact of melanoma on the lives of others. Melanoma research is also underpinning treatment for other cancers, including brain cancer.

Jeffs presence and personality was magnetic, you couldn’t help but fall in love with him - he was our big teddy bear and he has left a significant hole in all of our hearts.
