In loving memory of Jola O'Malley
We have created this fundraising page in memory of Jola O'Malley, beloved wife and mother, who we tragically lost to melanoma on 8 April, 2024. Jola was only 43 years old and a healthy, fit young woman who was somehow struck down in her prime by this awful disease within a space of only 3 months. This shouldn't happen.
With your help, the funds we raise will support Melanoma Institute Australia's world-class research, treatment, and education programs, in the hope that we can lessen the impact of melanoma on the lives of others. The treatments that nearly saved Jola's life in January were only 5 years old, and we believe new treatments can help save the lives of others. No one should have to lose a loved one if there is anything that can be done to prevent it.
